Classroom News Mrs. Scott's Third Grade February 5, 2019
Hello Families, We have been so busy with our World Geography projects. We have created our slide shows, made maps of our countries, and created a globe. The children have been working hard and loving it! We continue with working on multiplication in third grade math and I am always reminding the students to practice their facts for 5 minutes nightly. This will help them so much! Next week we have an early release on Thursday, the 14th. As you know it is also Valentine's Day. We will have a Valentine exchange in the classroom before lunch. As so many Valentines come with candy, I ask that if you would like to donate a snack for the occasion, that it would be something not loaded with sugar. Fruits, cheese and crackers, or anything else would be fine. Thanks for your support! Ask your child about our bears, Lucky and Holly. Each day we have a different Bear Sitter and it is getting to be a pretty exciting job to have in the classroom!
