Happy almost summer! We have had a busy, yet productive year in third grade. I am so proud of all the new skills these children have learned. It is so gratifying for a teacher to see the children's interest when they are learning about our world or animals. You could have heard a pin drop in the room when they were introduced to multiplication! They just have a natural interest in learning. As the year comes to a close, I find it hard to let them go! Bt they are ready for their next adventure in fourth grade. Thank you for sharing your children with me! I will miss each and every one of them.
Our trip to Billings Farm was really fun. It was a little short, but activity packed! Our next trip is to Shelburne Museum on Friday, the 14th of June. For this trip there is no program, we will all be taking self-guided tours. We are still looking for chaperones if you are available! On Monday we will be going to Boulder Beach to celebrate the end of the year. We have hired two lifeguards and can use chaperones there as well. Please let me know if you are able to volunteer for one of these trips. Thanks for your support!
