Please be sure to check out the photos and slide shows on the web site! We have been doing a lot in addition to our regular curriculum. Last Thursday we joined our PBIS Pals, Keven Carney and his 7th grade TA, and looked at the various skulls of animals from all over the country. It was a great way for us to see how some animals had adaptations to help them in their habitat. We also participated in Hour of Code, and helped create video games on the computer. The students really enjoyed this!
This week we will be working with a Vermont author, Natalie Kinsey Warnock. She will be coming into our class on Wednesday to work with us a little on writing! We have read two of her books in our reading groups: As Long As There Are Mountains and The Night the Bells Rang.
On Thursday we have ECO. We will be going outside with the other 3/4 classes for a Winter Celebration. Please make sure your child is well equipped to be out for 2 1/2 hours!
ONE LAST NOTE:
The elementary wing is collecting food for the local food shelf. If you would like to donate, please send in a non-perishable with your child.
